Finally i started my blog and believe me, i am both excited and nervous . Today i would be sharing one of my mixed media tag with you guys.
For this tag i combined three elements - texture , layering and handmade flowers( which i am addicted to create).
For the background i used a manila tag and stencil it with modelling paste, after that i cover up the entire tag immediately with micro beads for building up my texture.
Once dried properly i sprayed the background with lindy's sprays and high lighted the micro beads with inka gold.
For building up my layers i colored the gauge with distress ink and frayed it a little. Than i trimmed pattern paper from my stash and stamped them with black archival ink
For the chipboard i heat embossed them with white embossing powder and than dry brushed some metallic paints on top of it.
Finally arranged the stamped pattern paper and mdf (chipboard cut outs) and placed a vintage picture with a resin frame on top of it.
I did added some metallic paints on the resin frame too , to match the background and finally added my handmade flowers and a tiny bird to finish it off.
hope you like it
Thank you for visiting my blog
